Steve Bannon, a former adviser to President Trump, expects the commander in chief will fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein “very shortly” if the Justice Department official doesn’t follow his orders.

“[Rosenstein] either … is going to take the direct order of the president of the United States or I think Rosenstein will be fired,” Bannon said in an interview that will air Wednesday on the BBC, according to audio obtained by The Hill.
