On Feb. 25, Philip Morris discontinued most operations in Ukraine, said Philip Morris Inc. Director of U.S. Communications Corey Henry in a statement shared with the Washington Examiner.

“This included sales, distribution, and manufacturing. The Ukrainian army approached our colleagues and asked for stock in our warehouse in one of the most heavily bombed regions. We complied with the authorities’ request,” Henry said.

Marketing and product launches have also been suspended or canceled in Russia, according to a report.
