IDF shows video of airstrike that killed Hamas operative who transferred funds from Iran to Gaza

After hundreds of rockets were fired from the Gaza strip into Israel over the past few days, the Israeli Defense Force said they killed a Hamas operative responsible funneling money that funded the attack.

Posting a video on their Twitter account, the Israeli Defense Force said they hit Hamed Ahmed Khudari, Iran’s contact to transfer funds from the country to Hamas militants, with an airstrike in Gaza.

“Iran will need to find a new money man in Gaza,” the Israeli Defense Force said.

Earlier on Sunday, the Israeli Defense Force said, “Transferring Iranian money to Hamas & the PIJ doesn’t make you a businessman. It makes you a terrorist.”

The Jerusalem Post reported Israeli Defense Force spokesman Brig.-Gen. Ronen Manelis said more than 280 targets belonging to Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas were struck by jets and tanks in response to the recent barrage of rockets fired from Gaza.

CNN reported on Sunday 23 people were killed in Gaza, citing the Palestinian Ministry of Health, and four people were killed in Israel.
