Denver’s mayor leads one of the most open-minded cities in America, but his stance on dealing with the thousands of protesters who have descended on the Mile High City is decidedly hard line. Hickenlooper, a local entrepreneur, will be part of today’s kickoff festivities at the Pepsi Center. Outside, his police will be getting their first test enforcing the mayor’s plans.
