Trump Jr. says Schiff’s evidence of collusion must have gotten lost in black hole

When astronomers with the Event Project Horizon released the first-ever images of a black hole, the president’s eldest son used the event to dunk on a political rival.

“So CNN found where Adam schiffs evidence of collusion went!” Donald Trump Jr. tweeted Wednesday along with a link to CNN story about the images.

Trump Jr. was referencing Rep. Adam Schiff’s relentless insisting that President Trump’s 2016 campaign colluded with Russian agents to influence the outcome of the election.

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s two-year investigation found no evidence of collusion, while not making a decision on potential obstruction of justice by Trump.

Republicans and Trump’s allies have been railing against Schiff, D-Calif., for continuing to pedal the collusion narrative despite Mueller’s findings.

Some have even called for him to resign as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

“Has anyone heard from slimy Adam,” Trump Jr. asked after the Mueller report dropped. “I mean it must be embarrassing to have have spent the last 2 years as the leader of the tinfoil hat brigade and have it all come crashing down so quick. I’m legitimately concerned for his mental state.”
