District police have identified the man fatally shot early Wednesday near Rock Creek Cemetery.
Police said 32-year-old Marcellus Darnaby was killed on the 300 block of Delafield Place NW.
The slaying happened at about 1 a.m. Wednesday. Darnaby was taken to a hospital, where he died.
