Former Sheriff David Clarke quietly parted ways with Fox News last year

David Clarke, once a fixture at Fox News, was “banned” from the network last year.

The former Milwaukee sheriff quietly parted with the network and is no longer welcome on its programs, after appearing regularly to talk about the Black Lives Matter movement, among other hot-button issues, according to the Daily Beast.

Clarke was once considered for different senior posts within the Trump administration. Former White House aide Sebastian Gorka, who was a contributor for the network, most often appearing on opinion shows such as “Hannity,” was also dropped from Fox.

He is also said to be no longer working as a senior adviser and spokesman for the pro-Trump political action committee America First Action. He started at the PAC in 2017 after resigning as Milwaukee’s sheriff.

Clarke has not appeared on Fox News since “Hannity” on Feb. 14, 2018.
