Far-right GOP House candidate Laura Loomer lost her unlikely bid to become a Florida representative.
Loomer, 27, lost to Democratic incumbent Lois Frankel, who was first elected in 2012, in the Sunshine State’s 21st Congressional District. The Associated Press called the election for Frankel shortly after the polls closed on Election Day. Her defeat was not a surprise given the district’s heavily Democratic population.
