The U.S. Marshals Service has placed Paul Manafort’s New York City condo on sale for about $3.66 million.
Manafort, President Trump’s former campaign chairman, is currently locked in a federal prison in Pennsylvania after being convicted of 16 state felonies. In a matter of weeks, he could be moved to the Rikers Island jail complex and held in solitary confinement.
The federal government is offering up one of Manafort’s five New York properties, which altogether are worth about $22 million. Manafort’s loft apartment in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood is so far the only one of his properties that the government has put up for sale on the U.S. Marshals Service website.
“This classic full-floor Soho loft in a rare 5-unit condo has remarkable open sky and city views looking north up coveted Crosby St. in one of Downtown’s hottest locations,” the apartment’s description begins.
Entered through a key-locked elevator that opens up into the loft’s living room, the apartment also features a wood-burning fireplace, wooden floors, a new kitchen, and an in-unit washer and dryer.
“The fabulous master suite boasts an enormous walk-in closet & a luxurious marble bath with steam shower, soaking tub, Waterworks fixtures & Urban Archaeology tiles,” according to the description.
