Newt Gingrich spoke with Bill Kristol about the 2016 presidential race, Donald Trump, and Ben Carson:
“Trump is offering a very simple model,” the former Republican presidential candidate explained. “It’s time that we win. I’d like to win, if you’d like to win, you’re with me. I can’t tell you yet how we’ll win, but I can tell you my background is we’re going to win. So the average American is looking at Hugh Hewitt asking a series of names none of them know. And Trump going ‘hey, if I need to know em, I’ll know em. But I think those guys will be gone, I’m not going to waste my time. How would you like to win?'”
Gingrich went on to talk about how fascinating he finds Republican candidate Ben Carson.
