Nearly 100 friends and family members gathered Monday to dedicate a bench at the Vienna Town Green to honor a 19-year-old woman on the six-month anniversary of her slaying. Vanessa Pham was found stabbed to death in a vehicle crashed in a ditch near Route 50 and Gallows Road in Falls Church shortly after 3:30 p.m. on June 27. A Fairfax County police spokesman on Monday said the case is still an active investigation, and the public is being asked to view the video taken of Pham’s 2008 white Toyota Scion in the Fairfax Plaza shopping center less than 30 minutes before her death.
