PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — A federal judge has ordered a South Kingstown man to six months of home confinement for defrauding Sears of more than $150,000.
The U.S. Attorney’s office says 53-year-old Joseph Kilty was sentenced Friday. He must do 300 hours of community service and pay restitution to Sears. The former authorized dealer of a Middletown Sears Hometown and Outlet store previously pleaded guilty to one count of mail fraud.
