After eight months of construction, Baltimore County officials trumpeted Monday the completion of a new traffic circle that replaces a five-way intersection at the entrances of the Watersedge and Turner Station communities.
County Executive Jim Smith, Councilman John Olszewski Sr., D-District 7, and other officials attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the roundabout at Dundalk Avenue, Liberty Parkway and Sollers Point Road.
The $960,000 project also includes new sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, brick paving accents, planting beds, street trees, median trees on Dundalk Avenue and roadway resurfacing.
