The Flash star Ezra Miller charged with felony burglary

The Flash star Ezra Miller was charged with felony burglary in Vermont in the latest pile of legal troubles for the Hollywood actor, police said Monday.

Vermont State Police gave Miller a citation to appear before the Vermont Superior Court on Sept. 26 for an arraignment hearing, according to a news release. The citation dates back to an incident at a house in Stamford, Vermont, in May, when Miller allegedly stole several bottles of alcohol while the owners were away. It’s unclear what ties Miller has to the house, but Miller owns a ranch in Stamford.

“As a result of an investigation that included surveillance videos and statements, probable cause was found to charge Ezra M. Miller with the offense of felony burglary into an unoccupied dwelling,” read the release.

The charge was the latest for the star, who was arrested and charged twice in Hawaii earlier this year on disorderly conduct, harassment, and second-degree assault charges. Miller also faces abuse allegations from multiple women around the world, including an Icelandic woman and a woman from Germany, according to Variety.

Miller is expected to star in the DC Comics movie The Flash. Miller previously appeared in the DC Universe in other films. Despite Miller’s reputation and arrest record, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav said the film would proceed with release next year, and all future projects with Miller would be placed on hold.

The film is due for release on June 23, 2023.
