1. FAVORITE NEIGHBORHOOD HANGOUT

If I go out to kill a little bit of time, which isn’t that often, I like Borders at White Flint or Barnes & Noble on Rockville Pike. My husband and I both like books.

Strathmore Hall. The music is terrific and the variety is just unbelievable.

Museum of American History

The ability to work with public officials on a local level, state level and federal level. The proximity to the nation’s capital has afforded me all sorts of opportunities to lobby on the Hill.

14. EMBARRASSING PART OF LIVING IN D.C.

That we still can’t get a health care reform package. That’s embarrassing!
