Former Vice President Mike Pence “lost it” after former President Donald Trump threw a crumpled newspaper article at him in frustration, according to a report.

The 2018 clash was cited as an example of Pence not being “practiced in confronting Trump” in an essay published on Thursday, adapted from Wall Street Journal senior White House reporter Michael Bender’s new book, Frankly, We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost, and was rejected by Trump as “totally false” a day after its release.
