Redskins tight end tangles in weirdest legal battle ever

An epic local legal battle currently rages between Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis and a woman who claims Davis dumped juice on her head at a D.C. nightclub, among other offenses. Makini R. Chaka has filed a civil complaint against Davis and wants a permanent restraining order. Davis counters that Chaka is violent, having fought a female stripper and thrown bottles at another woman at Baltimore’s Mirage nightclub, and is trying to extort money from him. In court, Davis told a judge that Chaka’s case was “all made up and flagellant.” The case goes to trial next March. Both parties are representing themselves.
