Anthony Scaramucci on Saturday said the days of “gotcha” politics are over as the new White House communications director said he would be focusing on President Trump’s priorities.
“The politics of ‘gotcha’ are over. I have a thick skin and we’re moving on to @POTUS agenda serving the American people,” Scaramucci tweeted.

Amidst a White House administration shakeup Friday, Sean Spicer resigned as press secretary following the announcement that Scaramucci would be taking over as communications director. Scaramucci also announced at the press briefing that Sarah Sanders, then principal deputy press secretary, would be taking over for Spicer.
Earlier Saturday, after reports surfaced showcasing Scaramucci’s viewpoints on abortion, gun control, climate change, and border control that contradict those of the Trump administration, the new communications director tweeted that he would delete the posts and is dedicated to serving the president.
