Manassas teacher, security guard charged with pot possession

A teacher and security guard at Osbourn High School have been charged with marijuana possession, Manassas police said.

Police said 30-year-old Aaron Bauknight, who the school’s Website says is a business teacher, and 24-year-old Jacob Lavely were arrested for possessing the drug.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 9000 block of Coriander Circle, where Bauknight lives, at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Police said the two men were in the vehicle and officers recovered a bag of marijuana.

Both men are on administrative leave, the school said in a statement. They have been released from police custody.
