Sebastian Gorka: Nazi group allegations ‘false and outrageous’

Sebastian Gorka, President Trump’s top counter-terrorism adviser, on Thursday denied ever associating with a Nazi-linked group that claimed him as a member on Thursday, and told the Washington Examiner that the allegation was “false and outrageous.”

“I’ve been a committed opponent of anti-Semitism, racism and totalitarianism all my life,” Gorka said. “Any suggestion otherwise is false and outrageous. I am grateful to President Trump and his team for giving me the opportunity to serve and keep America safe against today’s totalitarians.”

Vitezi Rend, a Nazi-linked organization, claimed to the Forward that Gorka was an official member of its ranks.

The top Trump adviser cited a Tablet story that explained Gorka’s family connections to the anti-Communist “underground” in Hungary. The story quoted a source saying Gorka did not deny the Nazi group’s allegations to the Forward initially because the White House did not believe any “responsible journalist” would publish such “poorly-sourced” claims.
