Popstar Britney Spears, months after being freed from a conservatorship, announced Monday she is pregnant with her third child.

“So I got a pregnancy test,” Spears posted to Instagram. “And uhhhhh well… I am having a baby.” Spears, 40, joked that she “won’t be going out as much.”
The singer revealed she was thinking about having another child a few days after her conservatorship ended in November 2021, when she was apparently forced to wear a birth control device, according to Uproxx.
Spears has two children, 16-year-old Sean and 15-year-old Jayden, with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. She refers to her fiance, Sam Asghari, as her husband in her post and has done the same in other social media posts.

Spears, known for hits including “Oops!… I Did It Again,” “Stronger,” and “…Baby One More Time,” signed a $15 million deal with the publishing company Simon & Schuster to write a book detailing her 13-year conservatorship.
