Actor Alec Baldwin rang in civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday by tweeting about a “dream” he had where President Trump was hung for sedition.
“I had a dream Trump was on trial for sedition,” Baldwin tweeted Friday, which would have been King’s 92nd birthday. “And outside the courthouse, a noose was hung from a makeshift scaffold. The noose was made of recycled Covid masks.”

Many of Baldwin’s followers reacted positively with comments such as, “That’s all of our dream,” and, “That’s a beautiful dream.”
Baldwin, a vocal Trump critic, has attacked Trump several times in the last few months, including in December when the Hunt for the Red October actor listed several violent ways that Trump could be removed from the White House.
A month before that, Baldwin said that Trump should be buried in a Nazi graveyard with a swastika on his grave.
