The official sent forth by the White House to appear on four Sunday morning shows had nothing to say when asked if President Trump still has confidence in National Security Adviser Mike Flynn.
White House policy adviser Stephen Miller was asked about Flynn on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” but deferred all questions on the matter to Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and to President Trump himself.
“So, the White House did not give you anything to say,” asked host Chuck Todd.
Miller responded, “they did not give me anything to say.”
Flynn allegedly discussed with the Russian ambassador removing sanctions imposed by the Obama administration in a conversation that occurred before Trump became president.
Miller went on to praise Flynn for his admirable military service. “He is a three-star general. He’s head of the Defense Intelligence Agency. And I look forward to having more discussions about this in the future.”
When pressed on the issue, Miller only said “It’s not for me to tell you what’s in the president’s mind.”
