First lady Melania Trump released photos of the Christmas decorations at the White House, which have an “America the Beautiful” theme.
“’America the Beautiful’ #Christmas at the @WhiteHouse,” she tweeted Monday morning.

“Melania opted for lush Christmas trees adorned with red tartan bows and ornaments, plus a white and gold floral arrangement in the East Room. The real showstopper is the over-18-foot-y’all official Christmas tree in the Blue Room. It is massive,” the Spectator wrote of the decorations.

The decorations were installed over the weekend, after the Thanksgiving holiday, by volunteers.
“This weekend, volunteers from all across America have come to decorate the @WhiteHouse for the holiday season. Thank you for your time, enthusiasm & devotion to make sure the spirit of peace & joy fill the historic rooms & halls of the People’s House! #WHChristmas,” she tweeted on Saturday.
