NBA star Kevin Durant has tested positive for the coronavirus along with three of his teammates on the Brooklyn Nets.
“Everyone be careful, take care of yourself, and quarantine,” Durant said on Tuesday. “We’re going to get through this.”
He said that he is feeling OK and does not have any symptoms yet. The Nets did not say who else had the virus, but only one of Durant’s teammates has symptoms.
Sources told ESPN the person who has symptoms was experiencing aches on Tuesday.
So far, nearly 6,000 people have the coronavirus in the United States, and 17 people have recovered, according to Johns Hopkins University. On Tuesday, the U.S. passed a death toll of 100 people.
The NBA suspended its season last week after Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus.
