Walter Alcorn, chairman of the Tysons Corner Planning Committee, told The Washington Examiner that one of the first steps on the road toward future development in Tysons would be a local transit system.
Alcorn said a circulator system — whether bus, trolley or light rail — would be needed in Tysons Corner.
Alcorn said the county soon would begin a study to determine the best course of action.
“Until we know how the circulator system is going to function, we can’t plan land use around it. So we have to get that study done,” Alcorn said.
