The $2.2 trillion coronavirus economic relief package passed by Congress last week earned strong approval from both Republicans and Democrats.

According to a poll released by Gallup on Monday, 77% of respondents said they approved of the legislative package, while 23% disapproved. Both political parties showed similar levels of support, with 80% of Democrats approving of the legislation and 76% of Republicans supporting the package.
