President Obama will campaign for Rep. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., when he visits his hometown of Chicago this weekend.
Obama heads to the Windy City Friday for a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee fundraiser before attending an event for Hillary Clinton. On Sunday, he will boost Duckworth’s bid to win her Senate race.
There was no word Wednesday whether Obama would take in a Chicago Cubs playoff game while he’s there. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Wednesday he did not know if a ballgame was on Obama’s itinerary.
