Tysons remains potent, despite construction hassles

KPMG’s decision to expand its Tysons Corner work force by 375 employees underscores the resiliency of the area’s business climate, according to Fairfax Economic Development Authority spokesman Alan Fogg.

“Yesterday’s announcement shows the continuing strength of the Tysons market, despite all the stuff going on up here,” Fogg said, alluding to the numerous construction projects clogging roads around Tysons Corner.

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell announced the new KPMG jobs, and approved a $250,000 grant to facilitate the firm’s expansion project.
