President-elect Trump said early Tuesday morning that he canceled a planned meeting with the New York Times, after the paper changed the “terms and conditions” of the meeting.
“I canceled today’s meeting with the failing @nytimes when the terms and conditions of the meeting were changed at the last moment,” Trump tweeted. “Not nice”
The failing @nytimes just announced that complaints about them are at a 15 year high. I can fully understand that – but why announce?

Trump said he was open to a new meeting, but said in the meantime, the paper covers him “inaccurately and with a nasty tone!”
Trump’s message came just a day after Trump held what some said was a contentious meeting with major TV and cable networks.
While some reports said Trump had some complaints about how he was covered, the New York Post said one person reported that it was like a “firing squad.”
Trump has been holding a long series of meetings at Trump Tower in New York as he assesses people for his Cabinet.
Perhaps a new meeting will be set up with the @nytimes. In the meantime they continue to cover me inaccurately and with a nasty tone!
