Ann Coulter cuts into ‘zealotry’ of ‘late Trump convert’ Hannity

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter said Wednesday that Fox News host Sean Hannity would “endorse communism” if it kept him in lockstep with President Trump.

In a new column, Coulter continued attacking Hannity after she accused him of censoring part of her interview on his show last week.

She said to Hannity, “bless his heart, has the zeal of the late Trump convert.”

“He would endorse communism if Trump decided to implement the policies of ‘The Communist Manifesto.’ (Which the GOP’s health care bill actually does!),” she added, with a rebuke of the Republican healthcare plan that has Trump’s support, but has miffed some conservatives who don’t think it goes far enough to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Coulter was a vocal Trump supporter during the campaign but lately has become frustrated because he hasn’t yet fulfilled enough campaign promises.

Coulter really wasn’t impressed with the president’s decision to add of Goldman Sachs president Gary Cohn to his administration. She said last Thursday that Hannity tried to get her to “defend Trump’s ‘rich person’ remarks” defending his decision to hire Cohn, which he recently made in Iowa.

“I wish you could see the segment, but, unfortunately, Hannity decided no one would ever see it — NOT, I hasten to add, because he would ever censor criticism of Trump, but simply because he ran out of time,” Coulter wrote.

While she seemed to acknowledge that the cut was due to a time problem, she chided Hannity for making time for “Nerf ball throwing.”

“With the zealotry of those who came late to the Trump party, Hannity fully endorsed Trump’s faith in Cohn, adding, ‘I never got a job from a poor man!'”, she said.

Coulter said that in the interview segment that was cut, she explained that Goldman Sachs isn’t a job creator and that Cohn worked to serve his own interests while working there. “The geniuses of Goldman specialize in generating obscene salaries for themselves while helping send American jobs abroad,” she said.

After Coulter initially charged Hannity of censoring her, Hannity shot back on Twitter telling her to “cut the BS” and that she want over time despite repeated warnings.

He also responded to Coulter’s column on Wednesday.
