The Hill‘s Jordan Fabian reports:
Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-R.I.) will not seek reelection this year, the Associated Press reported Thursday night.
Kennedy, who is the son of the late Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.), has served in Congress since 1995.
Should another member of the New England political dynasty not run in 2010, Congress will be without a Kennedy for the first time since 1962, when Sen. Kennedy was first elected.

Who’s next? Nancy Pelosi?
