Ivanka Trump pushed back against reports that she will be filling in the first lady role while Melania Trump stays in New York.
President-elect Donald Trump’s wife is not expected to move to the White House until their 10-year-old son, Barron, finishes the school year.
Ivanka Trump called the rumors “an inappropriate observation” in an interview with ABC News that aired Thursday.
“There is one first lady, and she’ll do remarkable things,” she said.
Trump’s eldest daughter will also make the move to Washington, D.C., with her family. Her husband, Jared Kushner, has accepted a role in his father-in-law’s administration.
