Former D.C. mayor endorses Bonds in contested council race

Former D.C. Mayor Sharon Pratt endorsed Councilwoman Anita Bonds for the April 23 special election.

Pratt served as the District’s mayor for a tumultuous single term, from 1991 to 1995, and oversaw a ballooning budget deficit.
