The campaign for Keith Fimian, Republican candidate for Congress in Virgnia’s 11th District, has responded to an online video posted by U.S. Rep. Gerry Connolly’s campaign linking Fimian to offshore drilling.
“Keith Fimian supports a comprehensive energy policy of nuclear, wind, solar, gas and oil, including safe, responsible offshore drilling,” Fimian campaign manager Tim Edson said. “If you don’t believe that can happen, then you must stop drilling everywhere… Keith Fimian wants to strictly enforce safety regulations so we can utilize safe, reliable American energy. Keith Fimian believes we need a full investigation of what BP did wrong and what regulations weren’t enforced.”
