Report: Killer swears allegiance to Islamic State before shooting

The shooter who left at least 50 people dead at a nightclub in Orlando reportedly called 911 to pledge his allegiance to the Islamic State before committing the attack, according to a report from NBC News.

Omar Mateen has been identified as the shooter who opened fire in a gay Orlando nightclub called Pulse, committing the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.
