President Trump promised Friday that he would lead an activist administration that would finally tackle the big problems that have plagued America for years.
“The era of empty talk is over,” Trump told the crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland. “Now is the time for action.”
He said his administration is already working to build a “great, great border wall,” and predicted it would be built faster than many anticipate.

He said he would work with officials to make sure that criminal illegal aliens would be dealt with, by “throwing them the hell out of our country.”
“They’re not coming back in, folks,” he said. Trump added later, “We are going to keep radical Islamic terrorists the hell out of our country.”
Trump also cited ongoing efforts to repeal Obamacare, and his early step of withdrawing from the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
Trump noted his efforts to approve long-stalled pipelines, reform the tax code, and boost military funding.
“Hopefully we never have to use it, but nobody’s going to mess with up, folks,” he said. “Nobody.”
“We will reduce your taxes. We will cut regulations. We will support your police. We will defend our flag,” Trump said. “We will rebuild our military. We will take care of our great, great veterans. We’re taking care of our veterans.”
“We will fix our broken and embarrassing trade deals,” he said. “We will cut wasteful spending. We will promote our values. We will rebuild our inner cities. We will bring back our jobs and our dreams.”
