The New York Yankees and the New York Mets will offer free tickets to games for those who get vaccinated at their stadiums.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the initiative Wednesday, saying the fields would have separate sections for vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals.
“So if you love baseball (& protecting your community) — go to a game, get vaccinated & get a free ticket!” Cuomo said.
The @Mets, the @Yankees & @HealthNYGov are teaming up so that when you go to a game you can can get a vaccine right at the stadium.

The governor told reporters that people who want to participate in the deal should arrive at the stadiums “a little bit early.”
The seating placement of the free tickets is unclear, but the governor specified that full-capacity seating at the two facilities would be available for fully vaccinated individuals and that individuals who were not vaccinated could attend the game but only in limited-capacity seating sections.
All game attendees will still be required to wear masks.
