ORIGINAL POST, 11:05 a.m.: A man has died after he was struck by a car Friday morning in a hit-and-run in Oxon Hill.
Prince George’s County police said Saturday morning that 55-year-old Michael Thomas died at a hospital overnight.
Thomas and a 62-year-old woman were hit while they were standing in the street on the 6200 block of Oxon Hill Road at about 7 a.m. Friday, police said. The vehicle, described as a gray compact car, fled the scene.
The woman is hospitalized in critical condition.
