The recent virtual Democratic National Convention boosted Joe Biden’s prospects against President Trump, according to a running poll conducted by the University of Southern California.

The 2020 USC Dornsife Presidential Election Poll on Friday found 52.73% of respondents backing Biden, up from 50.4% nine days before. And 40.32% of those polled currently support the president, a slight drop from the 40.8% support he enjoyed on Aug. 19, which was Day Three of the four-day Democratic convention.
