Off Broadway play that depicts life after Trump impeachment to close early

The Off Broadway play “Building the Wall” that depicts America after the imagined impeachment of President Trump is set to a close a month earlier than planned, according to a report.

The 90-minute, two-person political drama’s producer, Jeffrey Richards, said that the play would be ending a month earlier than the July 9 finale that was originally intended.

Richards said the majority of the play’s reviews were positive but did make note that a few prominent ones were not, the New York Times reported. One such review came from the Times.

Playwright and Tony award-winner Robert Schenkkan took to Twitter on Friday to the plug the plays last weekend of shows.
