People ran for cover as gunfire broke out on a crowded Miami Beach street early Sunday morning, leaving three wounded.
Miami Beach police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez told local reporters that the shooting happened along Ocean Drive near 8th Street just after midnight.
Miami Beach Fire Rescue took two people with non-life-threatening injuries to nearby Jackson Memorial Hospital. Rodriguez said a third person believed to have also been wounded at the shooting scene arrived at Mount Sinai Hospital shortly thereafter.
Video shared on social media showed the chaos along Ocean Drive as people ran for cover.

A police motorcade drove slowly down the crowded street with sirens and flashing lights when the gunshots were fired.
Police reportedly arrested one person near the scene, but it is not clear if that person was responsible for the shooting.
