Secret Service denies Mar-a-Lago guest’s claim he sneaked past them

A guest at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida claimed he sneaked past Secret Service to take a selfie in Trump’s study.

“Snuck by secret service to catch the selfie,” Joseph Young captioned an Instagram photo Saturday. “They might have told us not to go in there.”

Secret Service, however, says there was no breach.

“Those reports are false,” Secret Service spokeswoman Catherine Milhoan told the New York Post on Sunday. “No one got past Secret Service.”

A Secret Service source told TMZ that guests were allowed in the study. Young eventually deleted the post.

The Secret Service has faced a slew of embarrassing reports in the last week.

A laptop containing floor plans for Trump Tower and information pertaining to the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server was stolen from a Secret Service agent in New York.

Two agents are under investigation after allegedly taking selfies with Trump’s 8-year-old grandson while the boy was sleeping.

It was also revealed this week that an intruder was within the White House perimeter for almost 20 minutes on March 10 before he was apprehended by Secret Service.
