Chris Brown is once again the topic of conversation where fighting and police are involved.
This time, however, it seems he got into it with someone his own size.
According to People magazine, the NYPD has confirmed that Breezy and fellow hip-hop artist Drake (along with their entourages) were involved in a bar brawl in a downtown Manhattan club.
According to the mag, both punches and bottles were thrown and several people sustained minor injuries.
The rumors thus far are that Chris sent a bottle over to Drake’s table, Drake confronted Chris, a fight broke out and Drake punched CB in the face. Soon, bottles were flying, benches cleared and the entourages got involved.
Chris took to Twitter (of course he did) to show the world a photo of a cut on his chin saying, “How u party wit a rich n—a that hate? Lol… Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!”
The photo and the message have since been removed from his Twitter page.
Could this fight have been over Rihanna? The “We Found Love” singer dated Chris until the assault hear ’round the world. She was briefly linked to Drake soon after and the two collaborated on the song “Take Care.” Ri and CB have been rumored to be secretly hooking up for quite a while and collaborated on two songs recently.
But not so fast. TMZ is saying that Drake’s rep has denied that Drizzy was involved in the altercation at all. Sources tell the gossip site that it was rapper Meek Mill who was involved in a screaming match with Chris and is the one who threw the bottle that hit Breezy’s face.
Mill posted a tweet this morning, saying, “It wasn’t me… (shaggy voice) lol.”
“Chris and his party are cooperating with NY authorities who are pursuing this incident further,” Chris’ rep told the AP.
Thus far, no arrests have been made.
Mark planning to work toward high school diploma
Mark Wahlberg has achieved a huge amount of success in his lifetime, but the actor-producer doesn’t have a high school diploma.
Mark, 41, had several run-ins with the law when he was a teen in Boston, which resulted in him not completing his education.
But Mark is heading back to earn his diploma.
“I quit kind of during the ninth grade,” Mark told David Letterman. “They’re going to give me whatever credits I already have, which is probably like one or two.”
A new program in Massachusetts offers high school courses online, so Mark plans to work on it in his downtime on film sets.
“It’s an actual diploma,” not a GED, he told Dave. “I’ve got to take up all the courses that I missed.”
Mark admitted that he’s nervous, but said, “I’m going to make it happen.”
