Tiger Woods released without bond following arrest on DUI suspicion

Eldrick “Tiger” Woods was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence in Jupiter, Fla., around 3 a.m. EST Monday, according to Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office records.

The world-renowned golfer and resident of Hobe Sound, Fla., was booked shortly after 7 a.m. and released at 10:50 a.m. on his own recognizance.

The 41-year-old has remained out of the spotlight in recent years. He wrote in a blog post last Wednesday that he was seeing “instant nerve relief” following a surgery in April for back pain.

Woods has not released a statement about the Memorial Day incident.
