Study: Over half of delivery drivers are tempted to eat your food

A new study found that over half of delivery drivers are tempted to eat your food while almost a third do.

The study published last week by US Foods examined bad behavior by delivers which showed that 54% of drivers were tempted by the smell of the food they are delivering and 28% have eaten food from a delivery order.

Customers in the survey said they would like tamper-evident labels to address the issue with 85% agreeing the measure was needed.

The study surveyed almost 500 drivers and over 1,500 customers from four of the most popular food delivery services: Uber Eats, Grubhub, DoorDash, and Postmates.
