President Trump made the first reference to his re-election bid since taking office on Sunday as he thanked members of his senior staff ahead of their swearing-in ceremony.
“With you and all of the people in this room, we are going to do some great things over the next eight years,” Trump said.
Vice President Pence swore in a handful of Trump’s White House staff Sunday in the first public ceremony to take place in the East Room of the White House in the Trump administration.
