Barack Obama lopes into Denver after Western campaign swing

Barack Obama arrived in Denver shortly after 5 p.m. soon before a roll call of delegates formally gives him the Democratic nomination. His arrival culminates a leisurely tour of campaign stops this week that began in downtown Chicago and ended in the Big Sky country of Montana.

The candidate kept a relatively low profile Wednesday as he met in Billings with veterans and their families to discuss his plans for “securing America’s future,” according to his campaign.
