HOLLAND, Mich. (AP) — Two ambitious West Michigan 6-year-olds have started a duct tape business in their backyard.
The Holland Sentinel reports (http://bit.ly/LVxBDW) that earlier this year, Karly Kimber and Sammie Jones of Zeeland decided to start making and selling homemade creations from duct tape such as two-fold wallets and hair bows.

But instead of pocketing the revenue, the girls decided they’d donate half to DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids. The other half covers about what it costs to buy materials.
Karly and Sammie have expanded their selection to ties, rings, purses and tote bags.
The items range in price from about $3 to $15, and the girls make the items from more than 30 colors and patterns of duct tape.
