Polish mothers have left strollers and blankets available at a train station for any Ukrainian refugees arriving after fleeing the war in their homeland.
A photo showing a row of strollers on a Polish train station platform has been widely shared on social media.
“Mother’s love is infinite and powerful,” Mum Central wrote on Facebook.
Other social media posts called the photo “powerful”, praised the demonstration of “compassion in action,” and noted the “huge hope” it represents.
“Humanity and hope continue to rise, even in the worst of occasions,” author and speaker Mary Katherine Backstrom wrote on Facebook.
